Compensatory Education Advisory Council

The Compensatory Education Advisory Committee is a mandated entity if you have Title I students on campus.  It is comprised of the whole school community (parents, school personnel, Title I coordinator, principal, community members).  The CEAC is responsible for:

  • advising and recommending the development of an effective educational program and plan that raises the achievement of disadvantaged students in writing to the principal and SSC
  • assessing educational needs of students
  • planning educational programs and budget resources
  • evaluating the school and its academic effectiveness

Members are elected to two year terms.  All meeting are open to the public and are generally held monthly.  Public discussion occurs at each meeting, but voting privileges are reserved for elected members of CEAC.  Please click on the calendar link to view a list of the election and meeting dates and times.
