LEAPWOOD ES CELEBRATES AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH
APRIL 14-18, 2014
Dear Leapwood ES Families,
On behalf of all our staff, I welcome you to the 2013-14 school year.
We are looking forward to a partnership with you to ensure your child has access to all the necessary support from both home and school. Your child’s teacher and the rest of our staff are eager to be your partner in your child’s education, and we invite you to call or visit us when you have a question regarding your child’s progress in school. We plan to keep you informed about school events and activities by sending home a monthly Leapwood Communicator, flyers and on our website..www.leapwoodlion.com.
Regardless of limited resources as a result of budget cuts, we still expect much of ourselves, of you, and of your children. We remain committed to excellence and ask you to enter into an active partnership with us.
After completing this past as your school principal, I can honestly say that Leapwood ES is one of the best elementary schools in the South Bay.
I was very impressed with all of the children and their dedication to learning. You should have received your child’s results in the mail by now, if not please contact the main office for a copy.
Remember August is a “hot” month so be sure to send your child with a water bottle so they stay hydrated throughout the day.
I consider it an honor and privilege to be your school principal and look forward to the start of this school year. As always, I have an open door policy so feel free to stop by anytime.
